We will make every effort to add changing information for the Atlanta area for major events and tourist or family destinations.

Atlanta State of Emergency Declaration – Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms declared a state of emergency within the city limits on Sunday, March 15. Under the declaration, large public gatherings of more the 250 people will not be allowed until March 31.

Atlanta Braves – Spring training games cancelled. MLB delaying season by at least two weeks.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens – Closed through March 30 (both the Midtown and Gainesville locations)

Atlanta Hawks Games – Suspended until further notice

Atlanta History Museum – Closed until the end of March

Atlanta Motor Speedway – NASCAR – Race postponed

Atlanta United Games – Postponed

Children’s Museum of Atlanta – Closed Saturday, March 15 through the end of March

CNN Tours – Tours are suspended until further notice

College Football Hall of Fame – Closing beginning Monday, March 16 for one week. Will evaluated the situation with further updates later.

Delta Flight Museum – Closing Sunday, March 15 through Wednesday, April 1

Fernbank Museum – Closing at 4 pm Saturday, March 14 at least until Saturday, March 21. They will re-evaluate the situation at that time.

Fox Theater – Closing until further notice

Georgia Aquarium – Closing to the public beginning Saturday, March 14 for two weeks

High Museum of Art – Closed until further notice

Margaret Mitchell House – Closed through the end of March

NCAA Men’s Baskeball Tournament (Final Four was to be in Atlanta) – Cancelled

SKY ZONE Statement – Closed until further notice

Six Flags Over Georgia – Closing through the month of March. Will re-evaluate at that time.

Stone Mountain Park – Temporarily closing park attractions through March 27th. Natural areas, Campground and Marriott hotels remain open. Park attractions are expected to resume normal operation on March 28th.

World of Coca-Cola – Closing beginning Monday, March 16 through Monday, March 30

Zoo Atlanta – Effective at 5:30 p.m. on March 14, 2020, Zoo Atlanta is closed to the public. We expect to be closed through March 31, 2020, at a minimum.
